Floor lamps

Floor lamps, or standard lamps, can easily be moved around in the interior. This has an important advantage as the lamp can be placed elsewhere if the interior changes; it could light up a dark corner of the room or it could function as a reading lamp beside a chair or a couch. Put the lamp exactly on the spot that you selected for it.

Both atmospheric floor lamps and functional floor lamps are uplighters. Their light source is encompassed by an impressive glass bowl. The lamp's fittings can be delivered in brass, bronze, matte nickel and shiny nickel. The bowls also vary in size and they are available in white (opal) glass, matte sandblasted glass or coloured glass. These uplighters are also perfect for illuminating a beamed or ornamented ceiling.
Floor lamps used for reading are not only very practical, they are also atmospheric. Their adjustable height and the way the light source can be directed are both important features. Standing reading lamps also offer a large range of fixtures and glass lampshades. Feel free to ask about the possibilities! We would also like to point out that there are models where an uplighter and a reading lamp have been combined.
Floor lamps that function as an ornament are considered to be very attractive. These lamps have closed lampshades and can be customised to the height that you desire. The choice in glass lampshades is nearly limitless! It is wonderful to have two of these lamps on either side of the couch, separated by roughly 1.20 meters. This way, the floor lamps function as a jewel in the interior but also as practical reading lamps.
