Louis Poulsen Doo-Wop Pendant Light

Doo-Wop or Navy hanging lamp, retro in its purest form.

Originally launched in the 1950s. The lamp was designed in a close collaboration between the navy's construction department and Louis Poulsen.

Until the 80s, the fitting was used in the buildings of the navy. It had many different purposes and was used, among others, in the canteens and offices.

Due to popular demand, the lamp is produced once again and can be ordered in various colours. While the dark grey and white model are stately, the models with the brassl or copper lampshade have a industrial look and feel. Cherish nostalgia with an ultra modern edition...

Note: that the brass surface has not been coated. This means it will change after a while and it will get a patina. It is possible for this process to have started when the item is delivered.
