Louis Poulsen PH 3½-3 Hanging Lamp

Design by Louis Poulsen, released on 9 September 2014, the day that Poul Henningsen would have turned 120 : the PH 3½-3 pendant.

The PH 3½-3 pendant was developed with the help of the original drawings that Poul Henningsen made in the late 1920s and early 1930s. They feature his renowned three-shade system

The lamp has metal shades in the colours green, yellow, red or white. Its copper suspension frame has a silky matte-brown colour. The shade holder and screws are made of copper-plated brass to guarantee the necessary firmness. As an extra detail, all shades have been covered with a white varnish on the inside as well as a small ridge at the bottom of each shade, which emphasises the contours of the lamp. The entire image offers stunning, optical symmetry.

The PH 3½-3 lamp is a modern classic with timeless Danish design that is almost unanimously seen as a lovely, rustic, functional and honest design. The lamp gives a stunning, functional light and cheers up every interior with its presence, whether it is switched on or off.
