Bold Tiffany lamps

In the Netherlands, the Bauhaus vision was mostly promoted by members of De Stijl. De Stijl (1917-1931) was a Dutch art movement that took place around the magazine ‘De Stijl’ which was founded by Theo van Doesburg. The members strove to create a pure design by using simplicity, abstraction and primary colours. Some famous members were Gerrit Rietveld, Piet Mondrian and J.J.P. Oud. The style of Mondrian was a source of inspiration for the series of Tiffany Mondrian lamps. These bold yet very atmospheric lamps have a sleek design with the famous geometrical division of planes.
