Are you looking for bold lamps, basic lamps or industrial lamps? Then you will certainly succeed at The Blue Art Barn Lighting! There is enough choice between sleek designs and clear shapes.
Basic and industrial
The Blue Art Barn has a large collection with beautiful, basic lamps. These lamps have a sleek, outspoken design. Basic lamps without any fuss but with a clear design. The perfect base for your interior! Think of placing them in the hallway, bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, study or, of course, outdoors. Particularly the Art Deco glass lampshades and the Gispen lamps are very suitable for those who are looking for a bold, ‘no-nonsense’ lamp. These lamps have a timeless and functional design and go effortlessly with modern and nostalgic interiors. Due to their vintage look and feel, Gispen lamps also look great in industrial interiors. The functional design of the lamps can often be linked to the Bauhaus art style from the 1920s. Bauhaus is often characterised by sober, geometrical shapes and modern materials such as steel tubes and glass. In short: designs with an industrial look. The famous La Lampe Gras lamps also go really well with interiors that have a bold, industrial character. The Blue Art Barn Lighting offers many possibilities in the area of Art Deco lamps. You can assemble your lamp to fit your own wishes. Choose a glass lampshade with a shape that is to your liking and select a fitting in one of the four editions: matte nickel is bold, shiny nickel is stylish, bronze has a more nostalgic look while brass is classic. Matte brass also goes really well with bold, industrial interiors. Combine the glass lampshade with a bold Empire pendant with a robust look. The glass lampshades are usually made in opal white glass or marbled glass. Opal white goes with everything, which is very functional. Have a look in the categories Ceiling Lamps, Hanging Lamps, Table Lamps, Floor Lamps, Wall Lamps, Outdoor Lamps and Bathroom Lamps to view or entire collection of bold lamps, basic lamps and industrial lamps. Bold Tiffany lamps
In the Netherlands, the Bauhaus vision was mostly promoted by members of De Stijl. De Stijl (1917-1931) was a Dutch art movement that took place around the magazine ‘De Stijl’ which was founded by Theo van Doesburg. The members strove to create a pure design by using simplicity, abstraction and primary colours. Some famous members were Gerrit Rietveld, Piet Mondrian and J.J.P. Oud. The style of Mondrian was a source of inspiration for the series of Tiffany Mondrian lamps. These bold yet very atmospheric lamps have a sleek design with the famous geometrical division of planes. The subtle colours make sure that these lamps can combine effortlessly with other colours in the interior.Â
