Clear glass

The clear glass lampshades of the Blue Art Barn Lighting are mouth-blown by skilful glass blowers. Transparent lamps are available in various editions and shapes. Think of a hanging lamp, Empire hanging lamp, ceiling lamp or outdoor wall lamp. A lamp made of clear glass has a bold, no-nonsense look but it is elegant and trendy at the same time. They look right at home in a twenties or thirties (style) home. A clear, spherical glass lampshade is timeless. Are you looking for a more playful model? Choose a clear glass lampshade in a stylish Art Deco shape. Besides the transparent, smooth glass lampshades, there are also industrial glass lampshades available. They are also made of clear glass, but they also have ridges. This gives them a bold look. Find clear lamps at The Blue Art Lighting by using the search area (on the top right of the page). Type in the word ‘clear’ or ‘transparent’ and find the clear lamps in the collection. Of course it is also possible to scroll through the various categories and use the filter ‘lampshade material’ on the left side of the page. Select ‘transparent glass’ and all the clear lamps in that category will be selected for you.

Matching LED light sources

When you choose a clear lamp, it will not look good when you screw in a regular (white) light bulb. Due to the transparent glass, the light source will be part of the lamp’s look. That is why it is important that it is also beautiful to look at. Choose a filament LED lamp or a carbon wire LED lamp. These LED lamps have been made especially for clear glass lampshades and are allowed to be seen. Have you chosen a clear lamp?
