Christmas in the Netherlands is celebrated on 25 December (Christmas Day) and 26 December (Boxing Day). Around the holidays, many people decorate their homes, exchange gifts and get together for festive meals.
Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
A birth is an emotional event. Love is sealed and the baby is embraced. The father and mother gaze at their baby with admiration. From now on, the newborn will be the centre of attention.
This Christmas scene is made of beautiful pieces of glass and can be a lovely gift for new parents, but the scene also refers to Christmas and the birth of the baby Jesus.
A small light source can be placed behind the glass. The warm love for the child becomes visible, as it were. The beautiful glass creates wonderful sparkles. An LED light is included, but a tea light or candle is of course also very stylish.
For many people, Christmas is a time for cosy get-togethers with family and friends. Others see the days around Christmas more as a time for reflection. In any case, this period is a special time, in which special attention is paid to atmosphere and warmth. Christmas 2025 should be a pleasant celebration for everyone, despite all the events in the world. Send a card or gift to someone who is alone or pay them a visit. Pay attention to each other in an intense way.
The Blue Art Barn has selected some particularly beautiful items that will add extra atmosphere and cachet to the festive season.
