Modernism is the Catalan variant of the Art Nouveau art movement. For SUN, SEA and the warmth of interesting ARCHITECTURE, Barcelona is the place to be. The city of Gaudi! The architect Antoni Gaudí (1852 - 1926) was the founder of organic architecture. Many monuments and works by the Spanish architect can be found in the city. The Sagrada Família is the most famous structure.

The expected completion date of the Sagrada Familia is expected to be in 2030. Since the laying of the foundation stone in 1882, construction on the church has been going on almost continuously. Could it finally be here.... ?

Natural beauty offers flowing unpredictable forms, the Art Nouveau/Jugendstil (1890 and 1914) art style is based on these natural principles.An organic form of building embraces nature and the artworks created try to integrate harmoniously into the environment.

Inspired by the stained-glass rose windows of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, this fantastically colourful Coloured by Art© lamp was created. Stained-glass windows bring light from the dark just like the new GAUDI lamp. The cool and warm colours blue, green, yellow, red and purple form a harmonious whole like a watercolour and come together to form an ornamental Tiffany glass shade. The glass of the table lamp has an unprecedented brilliance that can also be recognised in precious stones. Spectacular! The base of the lamp in warm copper patina reveals an intarsia in green glass with an iridescent purple glow, resembling a mosaic in which the rosette repeats. The finale like an organic pinnacle (just look at Gaudi's architecture) is a fitting crowning touch.
