BLUE

Blue is a calming colour and is associated with tranquillity and peace. The colour is associated with intelligence, stability and truth. Blue is the colour of clear communication, loyalty, trust, wisdom and (spiritual) willpower.

There are many types of blue, ranging from dark to light, from warm to cool, from grey to bright and from blue to green, blue to purple and blue to grey.

Blue brings more space into your home. You can use blue very well in e.g. the bedroom, children's room, study and living room because of the spatial effect it has. Blue is a beautiful and timeless accent colour and can therefore be combined very well with white, grey, taupe, brown or black, but also with a more daring and personal accent colour such as yellow, red, green, petrol, purple, orange, pink or turquoise.
